Made a couple rod socks

I have rod tubes but the thought of custom built rods bouncing around in them , possibly getting wear marks or nicks is not something I want to happen .
I looked on line for some rod socks to keep my rods looking nice during my steelhead fishing trips across the state .
Thin cotton sleeves or heavy plastic web items were all I could locate .
As every good fisherman does , if you can't find what you need , you make what you need .
I made them.
Grey Microfiber , seamed down the middle to hold each section and a pocket in the flap to hold the Ferrule Wax in .
They are my first ones I ever tried to make , stitching is a little off but they didn't turn out bad at all .
That's Jack the cat in the one picture , he thought I was making some kind of toy for him to play with , LOL !

Looks great, I like your idea of making your own and I love the BFT patch, it adds a nice touch to it. I had to uncheck your inline boxes to see your pics.

Nope , I didn't get back out that day .
Home chores had to get done , getting the garden started .
