Lake Mead week of 8/22 - doz - 08-25-2016
Finally got a boat and have hit the water 3 times this week. Many nice people on the water I must say (although there are those who still have something to be desired about "ethics")!
TONS Of action if you can get out there and can even be available from the shore. Striper have been chasing the shad all week and fishing has been excellent. Everything we have found has been around Sand Island (as previously reported). We ventured east a bit but didnt run into much. We were in a boil the other day that spanned the entire wash! Absolutely amazing.
Most of the fish 1-3lb (majority right in the middle) with the occasional 4lb fish being caught.
