Goose lake or Hagerman - dacoach - 07-18-2016 Hey guys, so my 7 year old is starting to get into fishing and wants to go after trout. So it looks like this weekend we will make a trip. We have family going up to goose lake this weekend and my brother claims the fishing is great. However it's almost 3 hours away. Hagerman on the other hand looks to be about hour and half away and also seems to have good fishing in some of the ponds and creeks. Has anyone been to either places recently? Which area has better fishing and shore access? Thanks guys. If I remember correctly they are doing extensive road work on the Hazard Road. They may be finished now, but I remember they were talking delays while the work was being done. Dtaybotz I've never fished Hagerman so please forgive my ignorance where is this dock that you speak of?
