SAN ANTONIO: Some largemouth and smallmouth showing from rocky areas. A few crappie are showing on red and white mini-jigs off the docks. For information, call (805) 472-2818.
SANTA MARGARITA: No report now that tackle shop is closed. For more information, call (805) 788-2401.
NACIMIENTO: Spotted bass continue to account for the bulk of the action. Small drop-shotted plastics have been best. For more information, call (805) 238-1056.
LOPEZ: Trout fishing has been very good since two big plants last week. Inflated nightcrawlers, Power Bait, Power Worms or Kastmasters have been the best baits. Bass fishing fair on crankbaits or pig-n-jigs. For more information, call (805) 489-1006.

I remember that Nacimiento also has a good speckled or black crappie fishery and you can use live bait when I fished there.

That sounds cool. I used to catch alot of crappie when I lived in Utah. We could catch them all year long. Even during ice fishing season.
