Today's catch ultra-lite fishing - lonehunter - 04-20-2016
Did some C&R Ultra-light fishing after work today , it's a great way to unwind.
LMB's and Suckers were hitting and on a ultra-lite with #4 test mono they had that reel screaming quite a few times.
Anyone else like the challenge of fishing ultra-lite ?

Do you fish that light a setup often? Seems pretty lite for those fish. I bet they put up a good fight on tackle that lite.

Yup , I fish ultra-lite as much as possible until the weedbeds start becoming a problem .
Even a nice bluegill puts up a good fight , with C&R he goes back in to tell his tale of the fight to the other fish .
It's O.K. if he over embellishes his story a bit , small fry's need a role model too [
