Been a while since I posted a report on this board. So here goes.
I was planning to hit Lincoln Beach on Utah Lake this morning but after reviewing my fuel shortage for the week I decided on joining TD at Lindon on Utah Lake. It wasn't fast action for me but I did learn a lot. I launched just after 6 am to a slight breeze blowing across the lake. Tried dragging some bait and a jig behind me while I traveled to the bubble up. No love from the fishies. Shortly after joining TD at the bubble up I hooked into my first kitty. A nice fat 22 1/2 incher. Still no love from the whities. Worked the pipeline and ended up with a mudder. I drug redside shiners today. As TD was heading out he handed me some carp and white bass meat. I had one really good hit on that and then nothing. Just a lot of pop and drops. Most likely mudders Next week I am going to LB. I need more cats....
Water temps at launching were a cool 66 and when I exited 69.
