monte carlo 9/27 - DH_tubinjoe - 09-28-2003 well...fishing was pretty darn good locally for the rockfish. we did real good one the red snappers. we got about 16 or so lings and 100 something rock fish...oh ya.... around 80 reds. fished yellowtail in the afternoon in an undisclosed area hehe. because we have spotted them there a lot recently. the conditions were just all weird though, so we couldnt get anything to bite. overall, we had a decent day of fishing. it was foggy all day, and the wind picked up a little bit in the afternoon. joe [signature] Re: [DH_tubinjoe] monte carlo 9/27 - JapanRon - 09-28-2003 Hey there tubinjoe, Times are getting tough unless you're a rockfish fan. I just hope that the couple of 3/4's I ride will hand in there and continue to go to Catalina for the Calicos, hit some of the secret spots for the White Sea Bass and maybe a yellow or two. I'm going to take at least one day a week and float tube. I'm looking at Monday or Thursday. Thursday would be better as the huge boat traffic on Sunday 'Ya Right! ha ha' might mess up Monday fishing!
