I like Heddon Torpedos or fishing weedless spoons on the surface. But I caught my largest pickerel to date on a zoom super fluke.

Can u give me spring chain pickerel tips?I tried a few times this month all ready but no pickerel.Why?

I have caught a chain pickerel on just about ever lure in my tackle box. They will eat just about anything, but ive found the best lure to be a 6 or 7 inch ribbon tail plastic worm. The tail will spiral thru the water really nicely. Make sure you have alot of them tho, and pickerel teeth tear them up.
