Best Fishing book I have read - timberhall - 07-05-2010 For those of you who are readers out there, I just read a book called the big one. It is about the striped bass tournament held on Martha's Vineyard every year. It documented the 5 weeks of the tournament for 2007. It is amazing what those guys do who are dedicated to the sport. Some of them stay up 48 hours at a time surfcasting trying to hook up with a 50 pound striped bass. my ancestors lived there and fished there and so I have a little more connection to the history and culture than maybe some one else but I would still recommend the book to any one.
