Fished the AM & PM run on thew Native Sun with Capt Shawn Morgan and his crew. The sand bass bite is off of newport and a afternoon thing so Morgan made the ride on both trips to the outside Rigs for a W/O 1-3lb Sculpin bite and for a bonus the big barracuda came up to feed for about 10 min but only one fish was boated and I was short bit twice on the B/W 544 jig.
There is a five fish 10in limit on the Sculpin.

Thank you for the great report. It's always good to hear from the pros on how the trips generally went and details.
I try to listen to the FTR program weekly. Lot's of invaluable information and entertaining too! Do you have a spot on the show and or contribute to the program?
