Californias BOW Program Offering Alaskan Fishing Trip - FishNews - 04-07-2010

The Kenai Peninsula is legendary for big Halibut, King Salmon and remote glacier lakes. On this trip you get it all!

We will be staying at the luxurious All Alaska Outdoors Lodge with all of the modern comforts, about two hours southwest of Anchorage in Soldotna. The lodge is on Longmere Lake with quick access to the Kenai River and a short drive to the famous Halibut grounds at Deep Creek. A floatplane is docked at the lodge to fly you to remote wilderness lakes.

The group of 28 will be divided into four person teams and rotate fishing experiences. Each team will fish Halibut at Deep Creek, spend a day on a guided trip on the Kenai River for Silver Salmon and a bush plane fly-out to Wolverine Creek to catch Sockeye Salmon and watch Brown Bears doing the same.

Deep Creek(ocean fishing) is in Ninilchik about 45 minutes south. We will be fishing with D&M Charters in the very productive Halibut grounds with a chance of King Salmon.

The Kenai River trip is with professional guides using the best equipment.

Your floatplane trip will take you to a lake determined by your pilot/guide. This trip can be upgraded to a full day multiple lake trip.

All Alaska Outdoors has also offered a few other excursions for the fly fishing enthusiast...an Upper Kenai River Drift, Float Tube Flyout and the Ultimate Expedition Flyout. These are in addition to the three fishing excursions included in the package. Please call me for more details.

We will have seven nights and seven very full days. There is equipment to fish the lake at the lodge or spend some time exploring the area. There are many great restaurants in the Kenai/Soldotna area. One night will be a hosted group BBQ at the lodge.

Cabins are fully equipped with kitchens, are spacious and very comfortable. All the gear at All Alaska Outdoors Lodge is top of the line. Your catch will be processed in vacuum-sealed bags, frozen and boxed, ready to be sent home.

If you ever wanted to fish Alaska, this is the trip for you. Great price, great place.
