Sport clam and oyster seasons to close at Penrose Point State Park - FishNews - 03-23-2010
Action: The sport clam and oyster fishing seasons at Penrose Point State Park will close March 1 until further notice.
Effective date: March 1, 2010, until further notice.<br />
Species affected: All clams and oysters.<br />
Location: Penrose Point State Park. The park is located in Pierce County on Carr Inlet.<br />
Reason for action: Surveys indicate that the shellfish population will not support a recreational season in 2010.<br />
