Wintertime gills on the Colorado River - jebusmc - 02-07-2010

Hi all. I'm planning a trip down to Laughlin, NV to fish for some Bluegill and trout. I'll be fishing Laughlin Bay for the gills using my inflatable boat/w fishfinder and probably shore fishing the main river for the trout. Anyone have any tips for catching early February gills? Do Black Crappie frequent the same haunts this time of year? Thanks in advance.
