I am new to cats as well. I think i need a 12 step program. I am Ron, I am a catfish junky. All I think about it the next rod bending fix.

the only way ive ever fished them is from shore afer dark..its quite relaxing with a lawn chair and a cooler of beer..

I'm with ya lurch i like to fish them with a cooler of suds sitting around the fire, just dont build the fire to big those ambers burn a line.

any bigger and you wouldnt have that ultra light anymore. Hell any bigger and they may have pulled you tube and all down like the shark in jaws did to those barrels.[sly]

Im definitely not new to catfishing, as a matter of fact I wish I could catch something besides catfish! Its like falling in the water, too easy! Just put a worm on (at night) and a sinker and start pulling them in. Its the skinning I can do without tho
