painting hard baits - jigs - 05-12-2009 well i ordered a new do it mold the other day and it came with a catalog. They sell spoon blades and blank hard baits. I am going to get some of the spoons and poppers and try my art of painting. I was wondering if anyone else has tried this and how they did. The spoons are $1.05 - $3.50 per 10 pack depending on the size and style. The hard baits are 6-7 bucks per 5. all you need are the treble hooks and the snaps. I figure for that cheap even if i do screw them up its not a big loss. Any tips would be great, sense the only thing i have taken a paint brush to was probly a colouring book when i was 8. He's a lure crafting (and a multiplicity of other things as well, from what I can tell) extraordinaire.
