[signature] Re: [Robo_Worm] grass carp - bytebull - 03-26-2009 Can corn works, Corn Flake dough bait (take Corn Flakes and maple syrup a little flour and some sprite and make some dough bait). I have actually caught grass carp using yellow or green YARN ... cut about 6 pieces of yarn around 6 to 8 inches long. Tie your line around all the pieces in the center of the yarn then tie a hook on close to your other knot then fold the two sides back like a spinner bait skirt. Grass carp usually won't eat live bait because they feed on vegetation. The Yarn method works for alligator gar too and you don't even need a hook because the yarn gets caught in their teeth.
