CJ Strike, Loverage Bridge - idahopanfish - 03-15-2009 Got over there this morning and just too much wind for Andy (he doesn't have a motor yet) so we went to Cove Arm. Got on the water around 9:30 am (2 hour drive from Twin)Still had some wind from the East but managable. Water temp was 40-42. A curly tail called lemon moraign (sp) has been good for crappie, so thats what we had on. tipped with night crawler. I tied up a roadrunner with the similar colors. Pictures to follow. That perch is a hog!!![ ![]() [signature] Re: [idahopanfish] CJ Strike, Loverage Bridge - Kent - 03-15-2009 Ah Cove Arm -- brings back fond memories, except for that narrow channel from the main body of water into Cove Arm. Every time I take my boat through that channel I question my sanity for doing it. We have caught a few huge perch on our large hooks while fishing for sturgeon up there on CJ Strike. It always surprises me when I catch a perch on such a large hook. [signature] |
