21XD, Guntersville / Mud Creek, Bass, 02/07/09 - FishNews - 02-08-2009 TOUGH DAY ON THE G!<br />I put in about 30 min. before it got light and starting with a jig and pig. Water temp then was 39.4. Got no takers at all so I tried a Carolina Rig dragging it real slow. No takers. Tried a Rattletrap real slow and then a small worm. NO TAKERS. Water temp ended up about 41.5 in Mud Creek at 1 pm when I decided I'd had enough wind. Water temp on the main river channel was 43.8 with nice white caps. <br /><br />I know I don't know how to fish - that part is easy but I REALLY don't know how to fish when the water temp is below 50!
