Second day back in Utah after my summer in Oregon, so I figured, what the hey. Good day to go out and scout for the deer hunt.
Found 14 bucks today, 10 over 20" wide. One, I'm targeting for the hunt.

Nothing like seeing a solid 185 typical the first day out to really amp things up. I figure he's around 28-29" wide, good tine lenght, good mass. Only thing that kills his score are the two small kickers off either side.

Coulda stuck him with my old compound no problem. Oh well. At least he's kinda dumb. Plus he's way back up a flat I've never seen a single person in. Hopefully he'll hang around for another couple months and give me a decent crack at him with my .243.
