I would recomend 15-20lb test line. Rod should be in the medium/heavy category in the 8'6"-10" range (that's usually what I've seen). Reels, I like the Pflueger Supreme, president and Medalist series. If your are baitcasting I would say either the Curado or an AbuGarcia, either the ambasedour or the C3 or C4 models. They have been around forever and can take one heck of a beating. Good luck. [signature] |
