Going to be camping in Tawas in the beginning of July. Any lakes, rivers, or good holes in the area? I don't have a boat, but would love to catch a few......any tips?? (specifics are definitely helpful)

tawas has the pier and fishing is always good there , I prefer the night time fishing from the pier .
There is the singing bridge that offers some great fishing from shore ,walleye , browns, are the local favorites to catch .
You will be in Bassass's area , he may stop by and give you a few places to wet a line .
