Need to find some doves - fishmagnet - 09-05-2007
Took my boys out Saturday and Monday and only bagged 6 total. My youngest is getting bummed because he hasn't got one yet. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

Unless you have some access to private lands you might be out of luck finding good numbers of doves. Most of the doves are found on the cultivated farms where they feed on grain and sunflowers and other seeds. Look for a combination of water and seeds and you should find some.

I do have access to private land with water and seeds.....just no doves.
