Montpelier Reservoir - gregjeppesen - 12-11-2006
I went ice-fishing to Montpelier Reservoir on Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The ice was at least 5" thick and very solid everywhere around the lake. I caught 6 fish ranging from between 12 - 15" long. My two brothers and my Dad who were with me also caught 6 fish each, which were ranging from 10-16". The fish were rainbow trout. The fish were biting really well after about 10:00.

Welcome to BFT and thanks for the report! Being from Bear Lake I have enjoyed quite a few days on Montpelier. It usually stays good all winter!
