Canyon Lake Guide Report - JimF - 06-09-2006 Canyon Lake: Water clear; 79-83 degrees; 905.47' (4' low): Largemouth are fair to 4 lbs. at first light on pearl JDC Skip-N-Pop topwaters, then tight to trees and bluff ledges in 12'-20' on watermelon Bush Pigs and weightless Whacky Sticks. Smallmouth are fair early in 12'-25' using Ice Tea Devil's Tongues on drop shots, smoke-red tubes and smoke 4" smoke JDC grubs. Crappie only fair tight to trees on minnows.
