Reel and Line Cleaning - DKStroutfitter - 03-22-2006
What do you use to clean your reels with?
Same question for sinking line. I use Cortland Fly Line Cleaner on my floating lines but will it make my sinking line float if I use it on the sinking line?
I don't want to put a scent on my reel with a lubricant so what is best?

I just use soap and water. as far at the reel I don't know what to tell you there.

[font "Comic Sans MS"][green][size 3]I too use Dawn dish soap (cuts grease). But I clean my lines about the fourth time I use them with Glide line dressing to clean and condition. As far as the reel I do use reel lube (graphite) specially after I use the dawn soap.[/size][/green][/font]
