Canyon Lake Guide Report - JimF - 01-07-2006 Water clear; 52 degrees; 906.72' (3+' Low): Largemouth are fair in 10'-25' in submerged timber on mainlake points using Texas rigged 6' green-pumpkin Scoundrel worms, pumpkin Snap Back lizards and jigging Pirk Minnows. Smallmouth are good over rockpiles and along deep water ledges bumping 3" smoke JDC Craws and brown 1/8 oz. hair jigs with pork strip trailers. Stripers are improved from Comal Park down lake swimming 3" Spoiler Shads and vertically jigging Pirk Minnows. White Bass are fair in 20'-30' channels jigging Pirk Minnows, Tiny Traps and Lit'l Georges. Crappie are fair but mostly small on minnows in 20' at the fishing pier/dock.
