Horseshoe Lake - irvman - 09-14-2005 Has anyone fished at horseshoe lake? I've thought about fishing there with a float tube. [signature] Re: [irvman] Horseshoe Lake - OldJigHead - 09-15-2005 Irvman, I have many times over the years, just not this year yet! A fun place to float tube. Planted Rainbows mostly on the end of your line. There used to be an occasional Grayling also, but, I have not had one now for a few years! Standard float tube fly patterns will work and also a Parachute Adams if you want to try casting to the occasional rising fish. Have fun! Re: [OldJigHead] Horseshoe Lake - windriver - 09-16-2005 If I remeber correctly the fish and game stocked a bunch of fingling greyling for the future. Windriver PS let us know how you do. I have never fished there before. [signature] Re: [windriver] Horseshoe Lake - BrianID - 09-17-2005 The F&G plant fingerling grayling into horseshoe lake almost every year. Some years they have problems with the grayling eggs so none are planted those years. [signature] |
