Didn't know what to expect this past Saturday as I headed up to the cottage on South Manistique Lake. I do know that I planned to hunt as many roads as I could west of St. Ignace until I reached the Curtis area and our lake. What a great day! No birds in the vest but i flushed 6, shot at three and missed them all.It doesn't matter though I explored some new territory walked some foreign terrain and had a great time just traipsing through the fields and forest.
It was really to hot for a lot of birds to be moviang musch less me.I'm heading back to thses new found treasures in October. Maybe I'll be more concerned about filling the game bag then-NAW, I WON'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!
