North Sterling Reservoir - EricCO - 05-10-2004 Went to north sterling this weekend and was quite surprised. We caught drum, wipers, and walleyes. The wipers were about 20" and fought like tuna. One of the walleyes was 17.5 inches. All the fish came from about 15 - 20 feet of water on nightcrawlers. Shore fisherman looked like they were just pounding the wiper. Not sure what they were using though. Water level is pretty high, probably about 80 - 90% full. The inlet is off and the outlout is running pretty good though.
