From Fresno, on Hwy 99; go 1 mi. N of Hwy 180 to Belmont Ave. Turn E, go 15 mi. to Academy Ave. Turn S, go 1 mi. to Hwy 180. Turn E, go 5 mi. to Piedra Rd. Turn N and go 5.3 mi. to park entrance at lake.
Rocky shoreline; in a remote County park in the foothills. Terrain has hardwood, brush, and grass; partially developed area. Primitive campsites. Barrier-free fishing.
Local fishing: Rainbows stocked weekly October through May; too warm in summer for trout. Largemouth bass and panfish.
