Have any of you Lost Creek chub catchers tried a cast net? What are your thoughts? Your successes or failures?

I have found them in 25' of water, which I believe is too deep for a cast net to be effective.

We have tried that and a fish trap with no luck at all but were out in the open water, so if you can find them closer to shore, you might get them.
