Any depths better than others? RE: Great Day - hook_sets - 12-20-2020 Nice to see some big crappies out of Newton. The lot is not (edit: NOT) plowed, and there are very few places to park roadside. After getting stuck in that lot with nobody around one spring, I decided to come back with 4 wheel drive another time. I didn't see anyone catching, though there were several people out when I went by, and more getting ready to head onto the ice at their trucks. There was one section on the west side just north of the main bay that appeared to be open water. It looked like it hasn't frozen rather than having melted. RE: Great Day - SkunkedAgain - 12-21-2020 Oh is that how you found the crappie with the panoptics. I fished it Friday and Saturday and only found perch and a lone LMB, but I was fishing shallower areas. Congrats. Looks like the side finding is worth the investment. Later J PS I’ve still got your BFT flag if you want it. RE: Great Day - DjHill16 - 12-22-2020 (12-21-2020, 02:57 PM)SkunkedAgain Wrote: Oh is that how you found the crappie with the panoptics.
