American Falls - fast_randy - 02-29-2020 Hi welcome all to the new BFT. I fished Aberdeen, at AF res. on Wednesday. Still over 1 foot of clear ice. You need ice cleats. Fishing was slow for small pearch. I never seen anything else caught. I am going to try by the dam on Monday for some trout. Maybe small mouth. RE: American Falls - wiperhunter2 - 02-29-2020 Thanks for the report Randy, glad you got out and catch a few, I guess it's better than getting shunked . RE: American Falls - SNAGGS - 02-29-2020 Thanks RE: American Falls - fast_randy - 03-03-2020 (02-29-2020, 07:59 PM)wiperhunter2 Wrote: Thanks for the report Randy, glad you got out and catch a few, I guess it's better than getting shunked . You're welcome Curtis. Good to see the new site up. I made it to the dam today. No one else there and I never did any good. RE: American Falls - wiperhunter2 - 03-04-2020 Well that's too bad, about not catching anything, hows the ice holding up Randy? RE: American Falls - fast_randy - 03-04-2020 Ice is great. A foot at least. It won't last long now. I left after 3 hours of no bites because I wanted to try for some small mouth at Seagull Bay. But that area is closed in the winter. I have a new (used ) boat I want to get on the water. A 2013 Lowe with a 40 hr. Merc. And front trolling motor. RE: American Falls - wiperhunter2 - 03-05-2020 Nice, glad to hear you got a new boat Randy, how long is it? RE: American Falls - fast_randy - 03-05-2020 It is 16 feet. I just licensed it today. RE: American Falls - vicki@bigfishtackle - 03-06-2020 Thanks for the report Randy! So glad to see some action on the Idaho board. Thanks, Scott RE: American Falls - prvrt - 03-12-2020 I heard there is around 10 feet of open water by the dam. OK...Thank you RE: American Falls - prvrt - 03-13-2020 You could put a boat in at the dam as of today. RE: American Falls - prvrt - 03-19-2020 Anyone know if the docks are in the water at Sportsman's? RE: American Falls - fast_randy - 03-19-2020 No the docks aren't in yet. No ice in site. At least not at the dam. I didn't get down to Sportsman. |
