Deer Creek - Fishhound - 09-13-2019
Fished with a buddy from early am first light to about 1. Temp on water was about 38 in water I think was 66. Caught a few 8-10 inch SMB tossing to the rocks off the island and one about 12 inches a bit further out. Used mostly drop shot and wacky rigged senkos . Caught a bunch of 4-6 inch whoppers up closer in to the bank.
Got one trout with shoulders about 16 inches out in 20 feet of water on the surface as we drifted out toward the middle. Real pretty one too - all silvery like a koke or something - but no color at all. It was the best fight of the day though. We threw everything back as usual
