SFCR - Duck-Slayer - 08-14-2019 Anyone willing to share on where the Walleyes are at? Heading over to fish Fri-Sat. Thanks Matt [signature] Re: [Duck-Slayer] SFCR - DonaldC - 08-14-2019 Matt F&G had a warning out for dangerous algae bloom. Haven't heard if it has been lifted yet. If u go how about a report....Thanks DonC [signature] Re: [Duck-Slayer] SFCR - TherapyGuy - 08-14-2019 My son and I fished SFCR 2 weeks ago and we caught quite a few walleyes but unfortunately everything was small. We tried a variety of locations and tactics and caught fish all over the lake but couldn't find anything with any size. Very strange. The algae bloom was very thick and nasty in some areas. I talked to a few other folks who hadn't had much luck but they did report that they caught some nice walleyes 2 days earlier at Oakley. Matt [signature] Re: [DonaldC] SFCR - Duck-Slayer - 08-18-2019 Weather and fishing was absolutely fantastic! 6”-10” Walleyes all day long! Everything worked, jigs/worms, cranks, bottombouncer/ blade/worm.... fun! Wish the fish were bigger though.
