Hi All,
I will be staying in Eden with family this week and was wondering where we might have some success taking kids fishing? Pineview or Causey and where on each? What to use? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you are fishing from shore I'd give Causey a try, fish right off the dam, lures could work but with kids, bait might be your best option. Power bait or salmon eggs could work but a night crawler might also be a good choice. Might be a little harder to find a good spot at Pineview, without a boat. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Two separate reports from Causey in recent days where neither had any luck, mainly due to very cloudy water.

Not sure if the folks you are talking about were using bait but if they were, that's not good. One thing that few people do here in Utah, is to try a marshmallow with a worm. That gets the bait off the bottom and up higher where cruising trout can find it but I'd bet a flig would work just as well.
