Devil's Creek success - kicknbass - 02-17-2004
My Dad, brother, and I have all been going up to Devil's Creek the last few weeks. The total amount of fish that we have caught is 88 trout. We've been using 1/16 oz. jigs tipped with rainbow power bait. I would make sure and have on a little bobber, little hits. Fished over by the dam.

Thanks for the info. The F&G really loaded Devil's Creek with rainbows in 2003. 37,000+ rainbows over 8" is a lot of fish for a small place like Devil's Creek to get in one year.
How much slush is on top of the ice? Did you catch anything besides planted rainbows? Were most of the fish skinny? If you kept some of the fish what did they have in their stomachs?
