high desert - kzilla02 - 02-10-2004 [ ![]() I have been going regularly and catching my limit of trout every weekend with an average of 2 to 3 lbs . They have a great breeding program for catfish also and I have seen catfish caught that weigh 16 lbs on trout guts . There is no fishing liscense required . I am not sure how many pounds of fish are planted every week but I know that they plant fish up to 6 lbs . The lakes are in Apple Valley . Take the I15 north to bear valley road and exit right , All the way to apple valley road and turn right .The lakes are 2 miles down on the right side of the road . I'm heading out to Vegas for the Shot Show Thursday and will be passing by your way on the way back. Maybe we can round up Chuck and hit the water?
