Fall walleye fishing at Boyd - utwalleye - 10-20-2017 Fished Boyd 10-20 on the water at 7:00 am, when the inspection station opened. Only caught 2 walleye, both at 16 in. At least you are still catching eyes, I haven't caught one here in several months. How fast were you trolling and what was the water temp? I haven't fished Willard in over a month but the last time I was there and actually caught fish, I was slow trolling, like 1 mph, with a lindy rig and all we caught was cats. The water temp was 53 at start and 55 when we left. The crank bait I was using dives to 20 feet flat lined at 2 mph. [signature] |
