Tournament Season is Heating Up! - CaboFishingPros - 10-13-2017 Cabo Fishing Pros Weekly Fishing Report October 2nd – October 8th 2017 Weather Conditions: Tourists are back and so is the more consistent weather patterns that we see each fall (with exception to a slightly higher humidity). If you're thinking of fishing anytime this month, remember the month of October is tournament time and we’re booking up fast. So don’t delay if you are planning on fishing in Cabo San Lucas anytime soon! Temperatures this week were a high of 86 and a low of 75. Humidity averaged 63% Average Water Temperatures: Pacific 79F –84F, Sea of Cortez 83F – 86F What’s working: Live bait: cedar plugs, squid, and cabalito Cabo Fishing report: Welcome to this weeks Cabo Fishing Report. Along with better weather, and the start of the prime tournament season - we are back to more consistent Cabo deep sea fishing action. For billfish, we saw some good blue marlin and striped marlin, and even a few sailfish. We have also had some very good Wahoo, Dorado and Tuna success – and even some impressive Roosterfish inshore. Hot spots for the week have been the Lighthouse for marlin, and Gordo banks for tuna.
