Re: [bassngal] Favorite top water lure? - booey34 - 08-21-2007 just had an awesome morning of bass fishing with the firetiger Pop-R [signature] Re: [Santaaa] Favorite top water lure? - AdictedBassTard - 08-28-2007 I have a small collection of Spooks but so far i haven't caught a thing on them - or a buzzbait. My wife is lethal with a skitter-pop. I would say about 30% of her fish have been snagged on them. For me my favourite is the Yozuri SS Minnow fished at a slow retrieve so that it makes a wide, lazy sweeping motion on the surface. I have been through two in the past two years due to the damage they have suffered from all the bass and pickerel strikes. Fantastic top water lure. Here's a pic of the one I bought in June this year: -ABT [signature] Re: [AdictedBassTard] Favorite top water lure? - FishinNoob - 08-28-2007 Ugliest thing alive but it works well. Its called a *correction, top knocker* not too many people use these but they are awesome...caught my 5 lber on a minnow colored one but that later was stolen by a monster pike[mad] [signature] Re: [FishinNoob] Favorite top water lure? - Warchild - 09-05-2007 I love fishing a 4.5 inch weightless tube jig across the top. I can it run over the thickest of cover and never get hung up or twitch it or walk it back to me. [laugh] [signature] Re: [Menth] Favorite top water lure? - tubeN2 - 09-22-2007 I have caught a few LMB on it. It works good right now since it fits into the topwater category.[cool] [signature] Re: [tubeN2] Favorite top water lure? - Menth - 09-23-2007 Awesome! [signature] |
