i think its the same thing as well. its just real fast the way i do it. i think the only differrance is i after learning it you can do it in the dark just as fast as light. without looking. to a real walleye guy that said it all.[

the knot crossineyes is talking about is a surgeons knot. you just take anpther piece of line and add it to your main line. here's a pic of it. hope this helps. it's the one bad thing about adding another line to the side. it tends to weaken one of the lines. some guys go with a 3-way swivel, but there again, you have more knots involved. later chuck
